The superstar duo of Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan is back on the big screen after 30 years. The two legends are teaming up for ‘Vettaiyan’, a action thriller with a social cause. The film features Rajinikanth as a cop who is on a mission to stop a deadly crime syndicate, while Amitabh Bachchan plays a pivotal role in his Tamil debut. The film is bankrolled by Lyca Productions.
A recent video from the sets of ‘Vettaiyan’ has gone viral on social media, showing a glimpse of the adrenaline-pumping action sequences that the film promises. The video captures a massive action sequence at a Mine in Kadapa, where the film is being shot. The stunt has left the fans in awe of the film’s scale and spectacle.
‘Vettaiyan’ also boasts of a stellar star cast, including Manju Warrier, Rana Daggubati, Dulquer Salmaan, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, Rakshan, and GM Sunder, among others. The film’s music is composed by the young and talented Anirudh Ravichander, who has previously worked with Rajinikanth in Jailer, ‘Petta’ and ‘Darbar’. ‘Vettaiyan’ is expected to release later this year, and is one of the most anticipated films of 2024.
