Dil Raju, a prominent Tollywood producer, recently held a joint meeting with the Telugu Film Chamber and Telangana Film Chamber to address the issue of film releases. He reported that the matter had been resolved, ensuring clarity in the release schedules.
In accordance with the commitment made by the chamber, the film "Eagle," starring Ravi Teja, will be released solo on February 9, 2023. This decision was made to avoid any conflict with the release of "Devara," starring NTR. Dil Raju stated, "If 'Devara' does not release on April 5, our film 'Family Star' will be released on that date."
The joint meeting allowed for open discussion and negotiation among the chamber members. Dil Raju provided updates on the release plans:
1. "Eagle" will have a solo release on February 9, 2023, as initially planned.
2. The producer of "Ooru Peru Bhairavakona" has shifted the release date to February 16, 2023, to avoid clashing with "Eagle."
3. The producers of "Yatra 2" and "Lal Salaam" were approached but were unable to accommodate any changes in their release schedules.
4. Dil Raju emphasized that the majority of theaters have been reserved for "Eagle," ensuring a wide release.
The Film Chamber hall hosted the event, where Dil Raju addressed the media and shared the progress made in resolving the film release conflicts. This announcement provides clarity for filmmakers and distributors, ensuring a smooth release schedule for upcoming movies.
