Court directs cops to file cases on Daggubati Family members. Tollywood stalwarts, Daggubati Venkatesh and Rana, were dealt an unexpected blow as the Nampally court greenlit the registration of a case against them. This development stems from the demolition of Deccan Kitchen in Filmnagar, and the court has instructed the police to initiate legal proceedings against Daggubati Venkatesh, Suresh Babu, Rana, and Abhiram. The complaint instigating these actions was filed by Nandakumar, the proprietor of Deccan Kitchen.
In his allegations, Nandakumar holds the Daggubati family accountable for the unauthorized demolition of his property, Deccan Kitchen, which he contends is a blatant violation of court orders. According to the complaint, the building, valued at crores of rupees, was not only razed but also reported missing furniture. The complainant asserts that despite existing court directives related to the lease, the demolition transpired unlawfully, resulting in a staggering loss of Rs. 20 crore. Furthermore, the complaint asserts that the destruction of the hotel involved the use of bouncers.
The court, acting on these serious allegations, has mandated the initiation of legal proceedings. Cases under sections 196, 448, 452, 380, 506, and 1200 have been directed to be registered against Daggubati Venkatesh and other family members. This legal development adds a complex layer to the ongoing narrative surrounding the Deccan Kitchen demolition, implicating notable figures in the Tollywood industry.
