Saif Ali Khan suffers injuries. Saif Ali Khan underwent knee and tricep surgery on January 22 at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital. The actor, who had been occupied with the shoot of ‘Devara’, took the opportunity to address a long-pending minor surgery. Sources exclusively informed IndiaToday.in that the procedure was indeed a minor one, and Saif is currently on the path to recovery.
Despite the challenges posed by the surgery, Saif Ali Khan expressed his gratitude, stating, "This injury and the surgery that followed is a part of the wear and tear of what we do. I am very happy to be in such amazing surgical hands and thank all well-wishers for their love and concern."
Contrary to earlier speculations that Saif sustained injuries during the shooting of ‘Devara’, including knee and shoulder injuries, the tricep surgery was necessitated by an old injury that resurfaced during an action sequence in the film. 'Devara' features Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor alongside Saif Ali Khan.
This isn't the first time Saif has faced challenges due to on-set injuries. Previously, while filming Vishal Bhardwaj’s 'Rangoon', he encountered injuries, sporting crepe bandages on multiple occasions. During the climax scene of the film, which also starred Kangana Ranaut and Shahid Kapoor, Saif hurt his thumb and ankle, showcasing the physical toll that filmmaking can take. Despite these hurdles, Saif's dedication to his craft remains unwavering.
