Ram Mandir Pran Pratishta performed

PM Modi performs Ayodhya Ram Mandir Pran Pratishta. Ayodhya is ablaze with religious fervor as the long-awaited Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla unfolded on Monday, graced by the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, and other distinguished dignitaries. An aerial spectacle ensued as army helicopters showered flower petals on the temple premises during the consecration.

Crafted by the skilled hands of sculptor Arun Yogiraj from Mysuru, the 51-inch-tall idol captures the divine image of a five-year-old Lord Ram standing gracefully on a lotus, meticulously carved from a single block of stone.

The grand event drew the presence of approximately 7,000 VVIPs from across the nation, including actors, sportspersons, industrialists, and politicians.

The Ram Mandir, constructed in the conventional Nagara architectural style, boasts dimensions spanning 380 feet in the east-west direction, with a width of 250 feet and an impressive height of 161 feet. Its vertical structure comprises floors, each measuring 20 feet in height, supported by a remarkable ensemble of 392 pillars and adorned with 44 gates.

Prior to the ceremony, Prime Minister Modi observed a strict 11-day ‘anushthan,’ sleeping on the floor and consuming coconut water. He also undertook visits to several temples across India and took a holy dip at the Rameswaram 'Angi theerth' beach.

The first glimpses of Lord Ram as Ram Lalla have taken social media by storm. Commencing from January 23, devotees will have the opportunity to witness the divine presence of Lord Ram at the Ayodhya Ram Temple. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has revealed that, following the sanctification, devotees from within and outside the country are expected to flock to Ayodhya seeking Lord Ram's blessings.
