Radhika Apte bitter experience at airport. Bollywood actress Radhika Apte took to Instagram on [Date] to share a distressing experience she endured at an undisclosed airport, highlighting the challenges passengers faced during a lengthy flight delay.
Narrating the ordeal through a series of photos and videos, Apte revealed that her 8:30 AM flight was significantly delayed. However, instead of providing clear communication or assistance, the airline staff proceeded to board passengers onto the aerobridge. Shockingly, once inside, the staff locked the doors, leaving the passengers stranded in a confined space."Today morning I had a flight at 8:30. It's 10:50 now and the flight has still not boarded. BUT the flight said we were boarding and put all the passengers in the aerobridge and LOCKED IT," Apte wrote in her Instagram post.
Emphasizing the plight of the most vulnerable passengers, Apte brought attention to the fact that individuals with small babies and elderly travelers were among those affected. She expressed concern that these passengers were forced to remain in the locked aerobridge for over an hour, with security personnel refusing to open the doors despite repeated requests. A video clip posted by Apte showed passengers behind a locked glass door, attempting to communicate with the security staff.
As frustration mounted among the passengers, the airline informed them that they would be confined to the aerobridge for at least another hour. Radhika Apte, sharing her exasperation, wrote, "Now I'm locked inside. AND they just told us that we will be here till a minimum of 12 pm. All locked in. No water, no loo. Thanks for the fun ride."
While Apte chose not to disclose the specific city or airline involved, her account sheds light on the challenges passengers can face during flight delays and underscores the need for better communication and passenger care. The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of addressing such situations promptly and ensuring the well-being of passengers, especially those with specific needs.
