Nandamuri Kalyanram who is known for his choice of unique storylines has once again came up with an interesting film 'Devil', The Secret British Agent. The film which is a period spy actioner is released on 29th December. Kalyanram played the role of a British Secret Agent in the film.
Devil opened with a low number, Rs 5 Crores gross globally but with a positive word of mouth and reviews. The film's release has been perfectly placed to utilise the new year long weekend to its advantage ensuring good numbers at th boxoffice. The film also manages to earn positive word of mouth has further increased its chances to score big.
Devil Two Days Worldwide Collections
'Devil' maintains consistence and on its second day, it collected more than on its first day. While Devil collected Rs 5 Crores on its first day, it managed to collect Rs 5.42 Crores on its second day taking its two day total to Rs 10.42 Crores. The film is eyeing for a strong Sunday and Monday (New Year's Day).
'Devil' also stars Samyuktha, Malavika Nair, Ajay, Sathya, Edward Sonnenblick, Elaanz Nourozi, Seetha in other pivotal roles. Bankrolled and directed by Abhishek Nama, Devil has musical brilliance of Harshavardhan Rameshwar. The film needs to gross Rs 35+ Crores to achieve Hit status.
