As per the police account, Jagadish Bhandari, also known as Keshav, clandestinely took pictures of a woman on November 27 while she was in the company of a male friend, unbeknownst to her. Subsequently, he allegedly employed these photographs to threaten and blackmail her. The distress caused by this harassment reportedly led the woman to take her own life on November 29, prompting the suspect to go into hiding.
In the latest developments, it has been revealed that during the course of the investigation, Jagadish Bhandari confessed to the charges of threatening the woman. Sources indicate that Jagadish admitted to the police, stating, "I threatened the girl as she distanced herself from me, and I couldn't bear it when she began getting closer to another man. My intention was to coerce her into coming back to me by using threats and blackmail with the photographs."
To gather more information, the police took Jagadish into custody for two days as part of their investigation. The confession sheds light on the disturbing events that led to the tragic outcome in this distressing case.
