Prabhas shares Salaar secrets. Director Prashanth Neel's highly anticipated film, "Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire," is scheduled to hit screens on December 22, promising a gripping cinematic experience. Starring Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Shruti Haasan in pivotal roles, the narrative unfolds in the fictional city of Khansaar, revolving around the profound bond between two childhood friends portrayed by Prabhas and Prithviraj.

Prabhas sheds light on the film's premise and his character, expressing excitement about showcasing a different facet of his acting prowess. “Salaar will explore the deep emotions between the lead characters,” says Prabhas, emphasizing that audiences have never witnessed him in such a role before. To immerse himself in the character, Prabhas actively participated in workshops, collaborating with director Prashanth Neel to refine the character's body language. He shares, “Our workshops were fun, and Prashanth and I would discuss the nuances that would enhance my character's portrayal.”

Reflecting on his collaboration with Prashanth Neel, Prabhas showers praise on the director, labeling him the 'best director' he has worked with in his two-decade-long career. Their bond extended beyond the set, with Prabhas expressing a genuine desire to spend personal time with the director. “I think we became close within a month, and there has been no looking back after that. Playing my character was challenging and something I had never experienced before,” adds Prabhas.

"Salaar" boasts a runtime of 2 hours and 55 minutes and recently received an A certificate from the censor board, indicating its intense and action-packed content. Despite its violent narrative, the film centers around the brotherly bond between the lead characters. Alongside Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Shruti Haasan, the film also features Jagapathi Babu and is produced by Vijay Kiragandur.
