Rana Daggubati, the hardworking hero who wants to prove himself in Film Industry never bows down to play a regular character. He keeps on trying various roles irrespective of languages on his quest of proving himself as an actor. Rana long before his entry into the films as an actor has won Nandi Award for providing Best VFX for Mahesh Babu film, Sainikudu. Rana used to own a VFX Studio on his own. 

Rana Daggubati, The elder son of popular producer D Suresh Babu who is the elder son of Legendary Producer Dr D Ramanaidu has always that privilege of entering the film industry as his family is one of the most influential in the film business. But, like many said it is the talent which keeps us going forward. 

Rana made his acting debut with Sekhar Kammula's directorial, Leader in 2010. This political film has made Rana a familiar name among the audiences. Rana's voice is considered as one of the very unique feature of him. On the very next year, he debuted into Hindi with Dum Maaro Dum. He won critical acclaim for his screen presence and performance.

During the period of 2011 and 2012, Rana faced tough time with continuous failures. Nenu Naa Rakshasi, Naa Ishtam, Department, and Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum became box office failures. Among the lot, Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum earned him fame for his act and the film too earned some decent result. In 2012 he made his Tamil debut in a brief role in Ajith starrer Aarrambam. He also played a crucial role in Akshay Kumar's Baby in Hindi.

Then, after a long wait, Baahubali happens. Rana played the role of an antagonist, Bhallala Deva in both Baahubali parts and fetched immense name and fame. His character became widely popular and received unprecedented appreciation from critics. It is a career defining film for Rana Daggubati. He did Rudramadevi where he played a key role followed by similar kind of role in Bangalore Naatkal in Tamil. Rana did Ghazi, a true story about Indian Navy and a submarine as a solo hero and scored success in Telugu and Hindi languages. His Nene Raju Raju Nene Mantri became a box office success as well as praised for his act. 

Rana reprised the role of Andhra Pradesh former chief minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu's role in Legendary Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao's biopic NTR headline by Nandamuri Balakrishna. He also played a different role in Aranya which was simultaneously released in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. He did two films Bheemla Nayak starring Pawan Kalyan and Virata Parvam' starring Sai Pallavi where he played a key role. Rana Daggubati also entered into OTT and made Rana Naidu series for Netflix along with his uncle Venkatesh.
