Animal Unleashing Frenzy At The BO

'Animal' headlined by Ranbir Kapoor, directed by Sandeep Vanga thrashes all negativity surrounding the film and cruising ahead registering terrific numbers at the boxoffice. Animal continues to record big numbers at the ticket counters despite being slammed for violence and misogyny. The film collected Rs 25.5 crore on its seventh day, Thursday. This takes Animal's total domestic collection to Rs 340 crores.

Animal completed its first week at the box office. The Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial witnessed a massive opening of Rs 63.8 crore on Friday and went on to collect Rs 71.46 crore on its first Sunday. among the Rs 340 Crores, south versions contributed close to Rs 40 Crores. It is still going strong in Telugu and Tamil languages even after one week with new releases occupying other screens. 

Animal toppled several records and emerged as highest grossing 'A' rated film. It also registered record of biggest  7-day total for a film released on non-holiday. The total global gross of 'Animal' for its first week stands at a whopping Rs 563 Crores. Trade is expecting hug numbers during the second weekend starting from today night shows.

Animal got mixed reviews though the performances of Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol have been hailed by the audience. The film also stars Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Shakti Kapoor and Triptii Dimri. The film revolves around a father-son relationship ‘carved in blood’. But, nothing is able to stop Animal's havoc at the boxoffice.
