'Animal' is the current sensation at the boxoffice. This Sandeep Vanga directorial headlined by Ranbir Kapoor has hit the bulle eye and toppling records with its every day collection. Bobby Deol who played the antagonist role in the film, briefly opened up about the massive response he has been getting for Animal.
Bobby during an appearance in Mumbai reacted to the raving reviews of Animal. Bobby told photographers, “Thank you so much. God has been really kind. The love I am getting for our film feels like a dream." Bobby grew emotional after thanking the paparazzi for showering him with congratulatory words.
A video is doing rounds which shows a teary-eyed Bobby Deol being consoled by his staff and team. He is seen wiping tears with a tissue paper before getting into his car. He looked overwhelmed as his driver drove away. Bobby Deol played the role of Abrar Haque, a ruthless villain clashing with Ranbir in the film.
Animal is having a terrific run at the box office. It earned Rs 63.8 crore in all languages on its release day. It crossed the Rs 100 crore mark on its second day itself. On its third day, Sunday the film is expected to cross Rs 70 crores. Animal also has Nail Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna in pivotal roles.
