Kriti Sanon Dreams Of Romancing Allu Arjun

Kriti Raves About Icon Star

Kriti Sanon dreams of romancing Allu Arjun. Kriti Sanon, despite a less-than-stellar performance at the box office this year, has marked 2023 as a truly special year with her National Film Award win for her outstanding performance in "Mimi," where she portrayed a young surrogate mother. The memorable award ceremony, held in October, saw Kriti's pictures with the south superstar Allu Arjun, who was honored for his role in "Pushpa: The Rise," striking the signature Pushpa pose, becoming a viral sensation on social media. Fans, captivated by their chemistry, are eagerly anticipating a collaboration on the big screen.

In an exclusive interview, Kriti shares her elation about meeting Allu Arjun for the first time at the ceremony. She expresses her admiration for his acting prowess, saying, "He's a fantastic actor. I've always admired his work. Meeting him at the ceremony was a first. We had a really warm and great interaction." The talented actress reveals her desire to work with him in the future, emphasizing his intelligence and expressing hope that they will be cast together soon.

While Kriti has ventured into production with the ongoing shoot of the mystery thriller "Do Patti," co-starring Kajol and co-produced by Kanika Dhillon, she is also set to headline Rhea Kapoor’s "The Crew" alongside Tabu and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Addressing her inclination towards stories centered around women, Kriti notes, "I mostly tend to gravitate towards slightly stronger women characters. If a character is challenging and makes me wonder how I'm going to pull it off, that's exciting for me."

However, Kriti emphasizes that women-led narratives are not her sole focus, revealing her involvement in a light-hearted rom-com alongside Shahid Kapoor, set to release on February 9 next year. Describing it as a quirky love story, she affirms her preference for a diverse range of film genres, ensuring her cinematic portfolio remains a mixed bag.

Responding to rumors about an untitled film produced by Dinesh Vijan where Shahid plays a scientist and Kriti a robot, she maintains an air of mystery, teasing, "I cannot tell you much about it. Wait for the trailer to come out." With Kriti's dynamic choices and versatile roles, audiences can anticipate an exciting cinematic journey ahead.
