Biggest ever Hit in terms of return of investment in films, divine blockbuster 'Kantara' has been the film of the year across all industries in 2022. The film which was made with 15 Crs has made 400 Crs globally in all languages. Rishab Shetty has acted and directed it bankrolled by Hombale Films.
Earlier this year, Rishab Shetty, had revealed about the plans of prequel, which has been creating quite a stir among the multilingual audience. 10 months later, the much-anticipated project, is set to be officially launched with a grand pooja ceremony on November 27.
Makers revealed that the first look of 'Kantara : Chapter 1', prequel to 'Kantara' will be unveiled on 27th November. They made the announcement with a striking poster designed in full of fire with a divine symbol in the middle. They write,

Recently Rishab explained that Kantara discussed agriculture, feudalism, land encroachment, environmental protection issues, human and nature conflict, Shiva’s journey., etc. He added that the divinity of the father, which became the highlight of Kantara, has a lot of depth to it, and it is this backstory that will be explored in the prequel. The makers shared that the film will be made on a big budget, and will surpass the scale of Kantara.
