Hi Nanna Trailer Review: Emotionally Charged

Natural Star Nani's upcoming Pan India Film which is a feel good romantic drama laced with daughter's sentiment, 'Hi Nanna' is making waves with its soulful content. Already released teaser, songs have created an impact among the audience. The theatrical trailer of Hi Nanna directed by debutant Shouryuv with Vyra Entertainment bankrolling it has been released.

The trailer starts with Viraj (Nani) narrating a tale of a king, and when there’s no mother character in it, his little girl Mahi (Kiara Khanna) requests him to narrate her mother’s story. He narrates everything but hides something about her mother. There is so much emotion in the story, thus the girl doesn’t want to stress his father about her mother. The intriguing factor in the story is she imagines the new friend Yashna (Mrunal) as her mother. However, Shruti Haasan was later revealed as Viraj’s wife and Mahi’s mother.

As the trailer divulges, there are many layers in the story. There is a magical love story, whereas the father-daughter emotion is highly sentimental. Director Shouryv succeeded in checking all the boxes of a wholesome family entertainer. Nani once again showed his acting prowess with a brilliant performance as a lover and father. Mrunal Thakur has given a commendable performance, whereas Shruti Haasan is a surprise package. Baby Kiara Khanna and her expressions are just adorable.

Cinematography by Sanu Varghese captures picturesque locations of Goa, Coonoor, etc. are presented in the most beautiful possible way. Hesham Abdul Wahab’s background score adds to the class as well as the emotional connection. The production values of Vyra Entertainments are topnotch. On the whole, Hi Nanna trailer offers an emotional ride with some great performances.

Mohan Cherukuri (CVM) and Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala produced the movie on a high budget. Praveen Anthony is the editor and Satish EVV is the executive producer. Hi Nanna is slated for release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages on December 7th.
