Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal' has been talk of the town in recent days. With the release of its trailer, the film has hit it's all-time high buzz among the audience and trade circles. After the trailer release, the film witnesses upward trend in its advanced bookings especially for overseas premiers.
Ranbir Kapoor during the trailer launch press meet, said he has played the most complex character of his career in 'Animal', a film that he described as an adult-rated version of Karan Johar's family drama 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham'. If I had to describe this story in a line, then it's about a man who goes to any length to protect his family. That's what the core of the film is, said Ranbir.
Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga of 'Kabir Singh' and 'Arjun Reddy' fame, the film's trailer showcases a violent world set against the backdrop of a troubled relationship between Ranbir's Arjun Singh and his father Balbir Singh, played by Anil Kapoor. As it was already told by the director that the film will high on violence, the same is reflected in trailer. But, what caught everyone's attention is the intensity and emotions in the film.
'Animal' also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, Tripthi Dimri, Shakthi Kapoor in key roles. The film is 'A' rated wit a run-time of 3 Hours 21 Minutes. The film is all set to have a grand release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages. 'Animal' will hit the screens on December 1.
