Naga Chaitanya, who tries various genres is yet to find his strong zone. Somewhat he is perfect fit to love stories and proved his mettle in that genre. But, whenever he tries othe interesting genres especially action or experimental films, they bombed at the boxoffice. He was last seen in the cop action drama "Custody" directed by Venkat Prabhu. The film carried good buzz before it's release but didn't turned out to be a success.
Naga Chaitanya is currently engrossed in NC 23, under the direction of Chandoo Mondeti. Allu Aravind is presenting it while Bunny Vaas is bank-rolling the project. Sai Pallavi is the lead actress pairing with Naga Chaitanya after blockbuster Love Story. Naga Chaitanya, last year came up with 'Thank You' directed by Vikram K Kumar Produced by Dil Raju. The film ended up as a disaster.
But, the director Vikram Kumar has pitched in an idea about Web Series Dhootha to Naga Chaitanya. Impressed by the concept NC gave his nod and it was shot parallely along with his other film's. Dhootha is route to be a supernatural web series directed by the acclaimed filmmaker Vikram K. Kumar. Originally slated for release in the first quarter of 2023, the series faced delays. The OTT platform has now announced that the release date will be revealed tomorrow at noon.
As per reports Dhootha will start streaming from December second week . Produced by North Star Entertainment, "Dhootha" features a stellar cast including Parvathy Thiruvothu, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Prachi Desai, and Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam.
