Salman Khan's latest outing from YRF SPY Universe, Tiger 3 which also marks his third installment from Tiger franchise hit the theatres globally yesterday, November 12. Katrina Kaif continues playing the female lead as Pakistan agent Zoya in the film while Emraan Hashmi is seen as the antagonist. Maneesh Sharma has directed the film.
Though the film opened with mixed reviews, Salaman's stardom in mass circuits, craze surrounding the film, festival advantage together have put terrific openings. Tiger 3 carried very good hype as it follows the story of Hrithik Roshan's War and Shahrukh Khan's Pathaan in chronology. It effectively used their cameos in the film too.
It is known that NTR has been roped in to play the antagonist in War 2 opposite Hrithik. Since the last one month there have been reports in Bollywood media that NTR will be introduced in Tiger 3. But, none like that happened. There is no NTR in the film but only referred him as the new enemy whose identity is unknown but works in shadows like a Devil. This has been said to assign a mission to Kabir (Hrithik Roshan) during post credits scene in Tiger 3.
Recently, in another instance there were news allaround that Ram Charan acted in Vijay's Leo. But, he was not seen anywhere in the film. This seems like a new marketing gimmick from the makers. As the cameos are increasing in franchise films, they are doing it purposefully to bring hype around the film by planting wrong information. This won't work everytime.
