Kajol post on Baazigar, as the film turns 30

Kajol turns emotional

Being one of the iconic films of both Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, marking their first collaboration together, Baazigar is a cult Bollywood film for every movie buff of the 90s. The film, which released in 1993, completed 30 years on November 12 and the leading lady Kajol decided to commemorate this moment by penning down a heartfelt note. Besides the duo, the film also features an ensemble cast of Shilpa Shetty, Dalip Tahil, Johnny Lever, the late Siddharth Ray among others. 

In her social media post,  Kajol revealed that she was just 17 years old when she started shooting for the entertainer and opened up about all the firsts she had during the shoot of Baazigar which included her first meeting with Shah Rukh Khan, her working with the filmmaker duo Abbas Mustan, first time she met music composer Anu Malik, and her experience of working with Johnny Lever, Shilpa Shetty, among others. Kajol posted a series of photos from the film and went on to write, “#baazigar completes 30 years.. This set was a whole lot of firsts .. The first time I worked with Saroj Ji, the first time I met @iamsrk . The first time I met @anumalikmusic … and me all of 17 when I started the film .. Abbas bhai and Mustan bhai actually treated me with all the indulgence of a favourite child. And how can I forget @therealxt , @iam_johnylever , @theshilpashetty .. So many good memories and unstoppable laughter .. ?? To this day, every song and dialogue brings a huge smile to my face .. Just because .. #30yearsofbaazigar”.

Kajol post received a lot of love from fans and movie buffs wherein many appreciated the chemistry she shared with Shah Rukh Khan. It is well known that Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol remain to be one of the most iconic couples of Bollywood and have done blockbusters like Karan Arjun, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.
