Venkaiah Naidu hopes national award for Shantala.After an exclusive viewing of 'Shantala', former Vice President, Venkaiah Naidu expressed profound admiration for the film, calling it truly remarkable. He highlighted its universal appeal, deeming it suitable for all audiences, even for family viewing. Emphasizing its foundation in real-life narratives from the past, the Vice President commended the new actors for their performances, revealing that the movie had deeply moved him. Director Seshu received hearty congratulations for delivering such a compelling film, marking his debut as a director after prior work with the esteemed Akkineni family. Naidu lauded the exceptional cinematography and music, hailing their excellence.

In his encouraging words, Sri Venkaiah Naidu extended his best wishes to KS Rama Rao for presenting the film and to Dr. Irrinki Suresh for producing such a cinematic gem. Expressing hope for the film's recognition at the National Awards, he announced its multi-language release in Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Marathi, and Malayalam on November 24.

'Shantala', a period film presented by KS Rama Rao under the Indo-American Arts banner, is produced by Dr. Irrinki Suresh and directed by Trivikram Seshu, featuring Ashlesha Thakur, known for her role in 'Family Man', in the lead.
