Some films are cursed. Their failures not only damage careers of its actors and technicians but also haunt for a longtime. 'Liger' is such a film. The film directed by Puri Jagannadh starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Pandey produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmmee completed one year of its release in August itself. The film garnered negative talk on its first day itself.
Apart from being a failure, the film also falls on the radar of ED and questioned key people of the project several times. That's not all, 'Liger' also faced problems from distributors asking to compensate for their loses. The film has crashed the Bollywood dreams of Vijay Deverakonda too.
Ananya Panday About Liger
Liger female lead Ananya Pandey shared this week's coffe couch at Coffee With Karan talk show and shared her views about doing Liger. Ananya said doing 'Liger' was a biggest mistake in her career. She did it only because Karan Johar, her mother Bhavana and father Chunky Pandey asked her to do the film. She also said that she didn't got such worst reviews for anybody her films in her career.
Karan Johar who has presented Liger in Hindi revealed that they approached Sara Ali Khan to do an item song in the film. Sara refused to do it, says Karan Johar.
