Animal biggest extravaganza in US. Sandeep Reddy Vanga's directorial venture, "Animal," is garnering significant attention as Ranbir Kapoor's most significant international release, particularly in the United States.
"Animal" is set to grace more than 888 screens across North America, a figure that surpasses the recent Bollywood hits like "Jawan," which featured Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role, and was released on 850 screens in the US. Likewise, "Brahmastra" was distributed across 810 screens.
The film has generated substantial online buzz, primarily due to its intriguing teaser, which hints at a narrative revolving around the complex relationship between a father and son. Anil Kapoor portrays Ranbir's father in this captivating story. In addition to Anil and Ranbir, the cast includes Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead, with Bobby Deol taking on the role of the antagonist.
Ranbir Kapoor has previously discussed his character in the film, describing it as one of his darkest portrayals: "Working with Sandeep has been such an enriching experience for me as an actor because he is so original. There is nothing referenced in his films. Everything I was doing in 'Animal' as that character was so new. This is the darkest film I have done, not because I am playing a psycho killer, but because it delves into the character's mind and his modus operandi, which is exceptionally dark."
Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar’s T-Series, Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios, and Pranay Reddy Vanga’s Bhadrakali Pictures, "Animal" is all set for a grand theatrical release on December 1. It promises to be a significant cinematic event.
