Much awaited Salaar which is slated for its release on 22nd December has been widely discussed about its boxoffice prospects and also many rumours are floating around. Salaar marking the first collaboration between Prabhas and director Prasanth Neel is one of the main reasons behind the huge buzz about the film. Hombale Films, the production house behind monumental hits, KGF and Kantara producing Salaar is another reason for hype.
Salaar is releasing in two parts and the first part, Salaar part 1 : Ceasefire is hitting the screens on 22nd December. Except for the glimpse and posters nothing has come out from the film. Team is extra cautious about leaks and they didn't let out any major update till now. For the first time team Salaar spoke about the film with Kannada media. They said that the film has extravagant action set pieces.
For a sequence 750 vehicles were used in Salaar. These include trucks, jeeps and various army vehicles. A war field has been created for the film where a massive action sequence is shot. Likewise KGF, Salaar too is packed with high octane action on a bigger canvas. Team is confident that these will stun the audience while watching on the big screen.
There were speculations that Salaar might be released in a single part but they are mere rumours. As per reports makers ar planning to release Salaar Part 2, six months after the release of Part 1, that is in April, 2024. Shooting for part 2 has been already completed and post-production is pending. Release date of Part 2 will be announced at the end of Salaar Part 1 : Ceasefire which will release on 22nd December.
