MLK Trailer: Impressive Political Satire

Martin Luther King starring Sampoornesh Babu in the titular role has been making noise in recent days with its innovative posters and premier shows being screened at various places in Telugu states. The fil is a joint production of YNOT Studios, Reliance Entertainment and Mahayana Motion Pictures, directed by Puja Kolluru, is set to arrive in theatres on October 27. Martin Luther King features VK Naresh, Sharanya Pradeep among others in key roles. 

The Trailer starts with Sampoornesh Babu saying that he doesn't have a name and Sharanya names him Martin Luther King. Then it showcases about local election in a village where two parties headed by Naresh and Venkatesh Maha collide to win by bribing and distributing cash to voters. Finally they gets caught with one vote wo win the election. That one vote belongs to Martin Luther King, both the parties woo him with various gifts and money. How he realises the importance of vote and his self realisation forms the film. 

Venkatesh Maha, who directed two critically acclaimed films - C/O Kancharapalem, Uma Maheshwara Ugra Roopasya, is the creative producer of the project. He’s additionally written the screenplay, dialogues and also played a pivotal character in the film. Going by the trailer Martin Luther King is an entertaining and engaging political satire with Sampoornesh Babu delivering serious performance.
