Aarya 3 teaser released. The highly anticipated third season of Ram Madhvani's gangster drama, "Aarya," is set to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on November 3. This marks Sushmita Sen's return to the screen after her previous project, "Taali."
Sushmita Sen has openly acknowledged that her character, Aarya Sareen, in many ways, mirrors her real-life persona. Both she and Aarya are fiercely protective single mothers. In a teaser for Season 3 of the show, Aarya faces a near-death experience, similar to a real-life incident that Sushmita encountered earlier this year.
Hotstar released a teaser for "Aarya" Season 3, in which Sushmita narrates her forced ascent to power in the world of gangsters and the personal sacrifices it demands. She highlights that she never aspired to become a powerful gangster but was compelled to do so due to circumstances.
The teaser portrays Sushmita smoking a cigar and negotiating with gangsters, interspersed with flashbacks from the previous two seasons. However, it concludes with a shocking scene where she is shot. She is already visibly wounded when the gunshot strikes her chest, and she stands atop a fortress. Her children look on in horror as Aarya falls after being hit. Sushmita's voiceover at the end of the teaser conveys her surprise that "the end" would take such a turn.
The teaser's YouTube description aptly encapsulates her predicament: "Jiske sar pe taaj hota hai, nishaana bhi uss hi pe hota hai (The one who wears the crown is everyone's target). #HotstarSpecials #Aarya Season 3, streaming from 3rd Nov only on @disneyplushotstar."
Earlier this year, during the filming of "Aarya" Season 3 in Jaipur, Sushmita suffered a heart attack. She was promptly hospitalized, and a stent was placed in her heart. Remarkably, she not only recovered swiftly but also referred to the stent as "beautiful" since it has become a part of her.
Sushmita's previous appearance was in Jio Cinema's "Taali," where she portrayed the transgender activist Shreegauri Sawant. In "Aarya" Season 3, she is joined by Sikandar Kher, who reprises his role as her trusted right-hand man, Daulat.
