Betting App: Kagana takes on Bollywood Stars

Kangana attacks Bollywood Stars

Kangana attacks Bollywood Stars over the betting app. Kangana Ranaut recently took to her Instagram stories to issue a stern warning to Bollywood celebrities about their involvement with brands like the Mahadev betting app. She revealed that she had been approached multiple times by the Mahadev app company but had steadfastly declined their offers. Kangana shared a news report shedding light on several Bollywood celebrities' association with the Mahadev betting scam, including the names of prominent figures like Ranbir Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Shraddha Kapoor, Sonu Sood, Sonakshi Sinha, and more, who were reportedly under investigation by the Enforcement Directorate.

However, it's important to note that the agency clarified that Ranbir Kapoor was not considered a suspect in the case. Kangana underscored her concerns through a news report she shared in her Instagram stories, which read, "34 Bollywood celebrities including Sonu Sood, Sonakshi Sinha, and Sunny Leone come under ED Scanner under Mahadev betting app scam case." The Tejas actress added a poignant caption to her post, saying, "This endorsement came to me almost six times over a span of one year, every time they added several crores to the offer to buy me, but I said no each time. Look, integrity is not just for your conscience anymore. Yeh naya Bharat hai, sudhar jao nahi toh sudhar diye jaoge (This is the new Bharat, improve, or you will be forced to improve)."

For those unfamiliar with the case, the Enforcement Directorate has taken action by freezing or seizing assets valued at Rs 417 crore following searches at 39 locations across Kolkata, Bhopal, and Mumbai in connection with the investigation into the Mahadev Online Book betting app. This betting platform, headquartered in the UAE, was described by the agency as an umbrella syndicate responsible for providing online platforms that enabled illegal betting websites to onboard new users, create fraudulent IDs, and launder money through a complex network of 'benami' bank accounts.
