Versatile Star Suriya highly anticipated period action drama, "Kanguva," is one of the most eagerly awaited films slated for a 2024 release. The uniquely shot action-packed teaser of the film has already piqued expectations among fans and in trade circles. "Kanguva" is set to release in the April of 2024 in 10 languages and will be available in both 2D and 3D formats. The film is being directed by Siva, who is well-known for films mass entertainers like Vedalam, Viswasam, and more.
The film has now started filming it's final schedule. Crucial scenes will be canned in this final schedule commencing from today in Thailand. Suriya and the rest of the crew arrived in Bangkok to kick-start a three-week-long shoot in the dense forests of Thailand. This schedule will continue until this month’s end or November 1st week
Pictures from the birthday celebrations of Cinematographer Vettri in Thailand were also doing rounds. Following the Thailand schedule, the "Kanguva" team will return to Chennai for some minor patchwork. The entire shoot is expected to be completed by November.
Suriya is said to have sported multiple roles in the film, which is said to have the periodical portions and current day scenario. Kanguva also stars Bollywood actors Disha Patani and Bobby Deol, alongside Jagapathi Babu and Yogi Babu in prominent roles. Directed by Siva, the film has music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The project is jointly bankrolled by leading Tamil and Telugu production houses, Studio Green and UV Creations.
