Agent OTT Release Hits Roadblock Again

Court Stalled Agent OTT Release

It seems like Akhil starrer Agent is cursed project right from its shooting stage. The film has faced several hurdles while it's making, with pandemic problems and director Surender Reddy accident. It also postponed for a couple of times for its Theatrical release and finally hit theatres in April this year.  

This Akhil starrer is a spy action movie which got released amidst huge expectations on April 28 and opened to disaster talk. It was washed out of theatres after its first weekend incurring huge loses to buyers. Sony LIV has announced that the film will start streaming in the month of May. But, it got indefinitely postponed. 

Vizag Distributor Battula Satyanarayana who bought a Agent for Telugu states filed a case against producer Anil Sunkara for not providing the film in all areas and also for not honouring his refund request. While the case was filed to stall the release of Bholaa Shankar produced by Anil Sunkara, court didn't stopped the release.

Recently Sony LIV once again made an announcement about streaming the film on 29th of this month. But once Again hits roadblock, the court has stayed the movie from streaming in OTT. So, Agent will not be seeing light in near future. Agent is directed by Surender Reddy while Mammootty played a key lead role.
