Anil Kapoor shows his intensity in Animal.On Thursday, Anil Kapoor unveiled his intriguing look from Sandeep Reddy Vanga's upcoming film, "Animal," in which he plays the role of protagonist Ranbir Kapoor's father. 

In the newly released poster, the 66-year-old actor appears intense, unhinged, and visibly unwell.The first look of Anil in "Animal" showcases him seated on a wooden sofa chair, his gaze fixed on the camera. He's attired in an open-front blue track suit, but what's striking is his appearance of illness.

His eyes are swollen and darkened, and he's hooked up to an IV drip, suggesting his character's unwell condition. The background is adorned with vibrant flowers, resembling wallpaper.Anil took to social media to share the poster, introducing his character with the caption, “Animal Ka Baap…Balbir Singh!”

His son, actor Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, responded with four bow-down emojis and two fire emojis on the Instagram post. Son-in-law and "Thank You For Coming" director Karan Boolani also commented with a face wearing sunglasses emoji.Anil's co-star from "Thank You For Coming," Bhumi Pednekar, along with her sister Samiksha Pednekar, left bow-down emojis in the Instagram comments.

"Animal" is a gangster action thriller featuring Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, Tripti Dimri, Shakti Kapoor, and Suresh Oberoi. It revolves around the complex father-son relationship between Anil and Ranbir, set against the backdrop of the underworld, ultimately leading Ranbir's character down a psychopathic path.

Co-produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and Cine1 Studios, and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga (known for "Arjun Reddy" and "Kabir Singh"), the film was initially slated for release on August 11 but was postponed to December 1 due to pending VFX work. It will be released in multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.The teaser for "Animal" is scheduled to be unveiled on September 28, coinciding with Ranbir Kapoor's birthday. Anil Kapoor's upcoming projects also include "Thank You For Coming" and "Fighter."
