Anwar Ibrahim took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to share a glimpse of their meeting, expressing his appreciation for Rajinikanth's support in his ongoing struggle, particularly concerning the issues of poverty and suffering faced by the people. In his Malay tweet, he wrote, "Today I had the privilege of hosting Indian film superstar Rajinikanth, a renowned name in the Asian and global art scene. I am grateful for the respect he has shown towards my efforts, particularly in addressing the struggles of the people. During our casual conversation, we touched upon social issues that he aspires to incorporate into his future films. My heartfelt prayers for Rajinikanth's continued success in the film industry."

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth, riding high on the success of his latest film, 'Jailer,' has exciting plans on the horizon. His upcoming project, 'Thailavar 171,' written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, promises to be a thrilling commercial action entertainer. In 'Jailer,' Rajinikanth portrayed the character of Tiger Muthuvel Pandian, with Vinayakan, Ramya Krishnan, and Vasanth Ravi in prominent roles. Notably, the film also featured cameo appearances by Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, and Jackie Shroff.
