The charges leveled against the police  that  they  are deliberately harassing the cine-folk are baseless  and meaningless  said  A K Khan, in his inaugural speech at  the opening of Cyber Crime Police Station, DD, Hyderabad at Nampally here. The police would not spare anyone, however big they might be, if they secure irrefutable evidence on  a particular person  who is involved in that  crime,  the cop added.

Speaking on the occasion,  Khan said that 35 cyber crime cases have been registered till the end of June. He made it clear that the police have prima facie evidence that there was connection between the smuggling of psychotropic drugs and prostitution racket in the State capital.
