Shriya Saran is the most senior actress who is still seen doing female lead roles. With her everlasting grace and magnetic charm, Shriya is still considered as leading lady for many heroes. She ruled south film industry, especially Tollywood for more than a decade in her 22 years of career.

Shriya Saran is an accomplished dancer. She aspired to become a well-known dancer, she became an actress and made her film debut with the Telugu film Ishtam (2001) Even before the release of her first film, she was signed to four more films, including Nuvve Nuvve starring Tharun which also marks the directorial debut of Trivikram.  In 2002, she got a big break with Santosham, co-starring Nagarjuna, Prabhu Deva and Gracy Singh, which was her first commercial success.

Then she starred in superhit films with star heroes, Chennakesava Reddy with Nandamuri Balakrishna, Tagore with Chiranjeevi, Nenunnanu with Nagarjuna. She also made her debut in Hindi with Tujhe Meri Kasam and Enakku 20 Unakku 18 / Nee Manasu Naaku Telusu. Then her career took a hit after she agreed numerous films in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil.

Shriya is back to game with Prabhas starrer Chatrapathi directed by SS Rajamouli. Then she started doing special numbers and became popular item girl too. She got a big offer with Rajinikanth, Shankar's Sivaji. She also made her debut to English films with The Other End Of The Line along with Cooking With Stella and Midnight's Children. She also made Malayalam debut with Pokkiri Raja.

After a brief set back period Shriya is back to form but as one of the leads with Akkineni family's classic Manam followed by Gopala Gopala, Drishyam and Gautami Putra Satakarni. She was also seen in Global Blockbuster RRR opposite Ajay Devgn.
