Superstar Rajinikanth starrer All-time Blockbuster, Jailer, Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, has crossed Rs 600 crore mark at the box office worldwide. Jalier emerged as the highest-grossing Tamil film in India. In Tamil Nadu, Jailer has earned Rs 210 crores gross. Producer Kalanithi Maran has gifted several cheques and swanky cars to Rajinikanth, Nelson and Music Director Anirudh to share the huge success of Jailer.
Jailer was released on August 10th. After four weeks, Jailer made its OTT debut on Amazon Prime. Reportedly the OTT rights were bagged for Rs 100 Crores for all languages. Jailer is continuing it's record spree in OTT too. The film released in multiple languages is recieving exceptional response from viewers.
Jailer is now trending at No 3 in the world. It was released on Amazon Prime Video in 29 countries and trending top 3 position. Individually, it is trending on No.1 in many countries like, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Canada, Newzealand, and Australia.
Jailer also stars Ramya Krishna, Vasanth Ravi, Vinayakan, Yogi Babu, Sunil and Tamannaah in other key roles. Music by Anirudh Ravichander has lifted the film to a new level. Sun Pictures bankrolled the film under Nelson Dilip Kumar's Direction.
