'Bedurulanka 2012', starring Kartikeya Gummakonda in the role of a street-smart youngster, is on its way to being declared a clean hit. It will break even soon.
In three days, it has grossed Rs 6.37 Cr worldwide. Here is the breakdown for the first three days.
Day 1: Rs 1.70 Cr
Day 2: Rs 1.90 Cr
Day 3: Rs 2.77 Cr
The collections have only increased progressively. No wonder that new screens/shows have been added.
Producer Ravindra Benerjee Muppaneni of Loukya Entertainments, who worked with debutant director Clax and 'DJ Tillu' heroine Neha Shetty, is happy with the response. "The 'RX 100' actor has entertained the audience in a well-written role. Mani Sharma garu's music and background score is a bigger hit after our movie was released last Friday. We are glad that the scenes involving the film's important comedians are striking the right chord with the audience," the makers said.
Presented by C Yuvaraju, the film has Ajay Ghosh, 'Auto' Ram Prasad, Srikanth Iyengar, and Rajkumar Kasireddy in full-fledged roles. Vennela Kishore and Satya are seen in the second half. 'Get-up' Srinu is seen periodically as a TV presenter throughout the film.
