Bedurulanka 2012 is running successfully in theatres: Kartikeya

Audiences are cheering B 2012

'Bedurulanka 2012' collected Rs 1.70 Cr (Gross) on its first day at the box-office. Kartikeya Gummakonda has scored a hit after a hiatus. A success meet was held today in Hyderabad.

"This film is running well and I am only more confident than before," Kartikeya said, suggesting that his judgment has been validated by the audience. "The scenes in the second half, especially some issues that we have raised, have been embraced by the audience. I am proud of the fact that the comedy quotient and screenplay in the last 45 minutes have certainly wowed the audience. A serious issue has been highlighted in a light-veined fashion, something that the viewers are liking," Kartikeya said.

The 'RX 100' actor is glad that the theatres he visited on Friday were packed. "Seeing a housefull theatre, my heart was content. When I introduced my director Clax to the audience, they clapped for him. More than commercial success, it is the appreciation that has boosted our morale," Kartikeya said.

He thanked Mani Sharma's music for contributing to the success.

The film is produced by Ravindra Benerjee Muppaneni of Loukya Entertainmetns and presented by C Yuvaraju.
