India became the first nation to successfully complete the soft landing near the lunar south pole. Chandrayaan 3 today successfully overcame the 15 minutes of terror without any technical glitches and the moment Chandrayaan 3 lander Vikram landed on the moon in a perfectly smooth landing, the entire team of ISRO erupted with joy. In the process, India became only the fourth nation after Russia, the USA, and China to successfully land on the Moon.
PM Modi who watched the entire mission virtually from Johannesburg, South Africa showered praises on the ISRO scientists. people from across the country started celebrating bursting crackers. Chandrayaan 3 comprised of a lander named Vikram and a rover named Pragyan similar to those of the Chandrayaan-2.
PM Modi congratulating the scientists said "No country has reached there (the South Pole of the moon) before. With the hard work of our scientists we have reached there," He added "India's successful Moon mission is not just India's alone...This success belongs to all of humanity," the PM added "When we see such historic moments it makes us very proud. This is the dawn of new India,"
India, PM added that ISRO will send satellites to the Sun, and already ISRO started working on the mission titled Aditya and also missions to Mars, Saturn etc., and also envisions having its own space station. All the political and film celebrities showered praies on the ISRO and started celebrating the historic moment.
Chandrayaan 3 will now leave an Ashoka Emblem print on the Moon's surface and it is a proud moment for every Indian.
