Rumours on Nagarjuna's next title. For long speculation nis going on Nagarjuna's next project. It is known that Nagarjuna's recent flicks failed at the box office, be it Wild Dog or The Ghost. Bangarraju turned out to be the saving grace only because it was released during the Sankranti festive season.
All eyes are now on his upcoming project. This project happens to be Nagarjuna's 99 and reports came that Prasanna Kumar Bezawada would direct the project and it would be launched officially on Nagarjuna's birthday on 29 August. Rumors spread that the project would be the remake of a Malayalam film the Mayalayam hit Porinju Mariam Jose and would be bankrolled by Srinivasaa Chitturi on the Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner.
Reports also came that Nagarjuna will be seen in dual role and the film has a 80s-90s backdrop. Now rumours are spreading that there is a director change and star choreographer Vijay Binny will direct the film instead of Prasanna Kumar Bezawada. Kajal Agarwal will be the female lead.
Earlier reports came that the makers are planning to rope in Miss India Manasa Varanasi. The project would be announced with a video glimpse on Nagarjuna's birthday and reports are coming that the film would be titled Galata.
