Mega Prince Varun Tej got engaged to Lavanya Tripathi. Many got surprised when they heard about Varun being in love with Lavanya as he always seems a calm and rumor-free hero. With the blessings of both family members, the love birds have started their journey together with an engagement and are getting ready to get married.
Varun Tej who is currently busy with the promotional activities of his upcoming film Gandeevadhari Arjuna has opened up about his relationship with Lavanya. He said that they have been good friends for five years. As they both get comfortable with each other they unwanted to take it further. Varun also revealed that it was him who proposed first and Lavanya agreed to his proposal.
Varun Tej also said that Lavanya gave him many gifts and the current mobile he is using is also one among them. 'Lavanya is a mature person and also caring. I would like to keep my personal life private. That's why I didn't speak about our relationship. We wanted to get married in a simple manner like our engagement', says Varun.
Reports spread that they will get hitched on August 24. But, it seems not true as no such arrangements are going on. Varun is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Gandeevadhari Arjuna on August 25. He played the role of a spy in this stylish action thriller. It is being heard that they will get married by the end of this year.
