Rs 1600 crores for development of highways in the state

Kadapa, July 17 (TNN): A huge budget of Rs 1600 crores will be spent on developing the highways in the state according to Ms Gallia Aruna , Minister for Roads and Buildings here on Friday.  Addressing a press conference  here  she said that   the four lane highway  projects  between  Renigunta and Kadapa, Pulivendala and Bangalore, and Vijayawada and Hyderabad  have been approved.

She further added that last year  a sum of Rs 2,500 crores have been spent on  the development of highways in the state. Of the Rs 2,500 crores  Rs 300 crores  were spent on Kadapa.
