Technical Education Minister Mopidevi Venkataramana on Wednesday released the ranks of Engineering, Agriculture and Medicine Common Entrance Test (Eamcet 2010).
Md Ghouse Jani of Visakhapatnam secured the first rank, Janardhan Reddy of Guntur came second and Boyapati Pallavi of Vijayawada third in the engineering stream.
Sai Niteesh of Kakinada and Y Lakshmipathi of Chittoor bagged the fourth and fifth ranks respectively.Ravinuthala Lalitha of Hyderabad topped the medical stream.
Kiranmayi (Vijayawada), Rahul (Hyderabad), Srilakshmi (Vijayawada) and Challa Madhuri (Hyderabad) bagged the second, third, fourth and fifth ranks respectively.
The ranks were announced on the basis of their individual score in the Intermediate examinations.
The EAMCET is conducted by JNT University Hyderabad on behalf of APSCHE. This is an entry-level test for admission to various professional courses in Government/Private Colleges in Andhra Pradesh.
The EAMCET web-based counseling will begin for engineering students in August second week and for medical students in the third week of August.
