Sachin Tendulkar is Group Captain in Indian Air Force

God of Indian cricket Sachin Tendulkar is once again to receive a rare honor  and this time it is from Indian Air Force. Few days ago Sachin requested the IAF that he wants to fly Sukhoi-30, the fighter aircraft (which will be a twin seater).

From that time, IAF was thinking of confering the status of Wing Commander or Group Captain to Sachin Tendulkar. Finally today Indian Air Force has announced that Sachin was being bestowed the rank of Group Captain and this would be rarest of the rare gestures to someone other than an airman.
