Kota Prasad consigned to flames

Kota Prasad, the 39 year-old son of veteran actor and former BJP MLA Kota Srinivasa Rao, who died in a road accident near AP Police Academy on Sunday, was cremated at Erragadda on Monday.

Many well-wishers, political leaders and film personalities attended the last rites wherein Kota Srinivasa Rao lit the funeral pyre.

Earlier, Chief Minister K Rosaiah, Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu, BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu and BJP state president G Kishan Reddy, Secunderabad MLA Jayasudha, Praja Rajyam president K Chiranjeevi and many film personalities visited the hospital and expressed their condolences with Srinivasa Rao over his son’s death. After the post-mortem at Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences, the body of Kota Prasad was brought to his house.
