City reports six more swine flu cases

Hyderabad, Aug 21:

 Health authorities on Friday confirmed six more cases in the capital, taking the overall total of swine flu cases to 104 in Andhra Pradesh.

The doctors at the Chest hospital informed that all the six patients had a ‘Gulf’ link. All the six patients had come to the State capital recently from Sharjah and Kuwait. Authorities informed that all the six patients are in a stable condition. After primary treatment they are referred to the Koti Hospital.

Meanwhile, the health authorities informed that Apollo Hospitals had already started treating patients with swine flu-like symptoms.
The rest of the private hospitals were expected to start treating patients with flu-like symptoms after signing an agreement with the district health authorities.
