Andhra Pradesh Assembly witnessed a political heat between the ruling YSR Congress Party and the Opposition TDP on the fourth day also. The first debate on the 2019-20 budget saw the opposition finding fault with the claims of the ruling Party and the allocations for various sectors.
YSRCP MLA Ambati Rambabu wished to see that the opposition members should use the time in a judicious manner and added that people of the state are witnessing what is happening. Similarly, another YSRCP MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy alleged how the previous government used the Assembly targeting the opposition members and making YSRCP MLA Roja a victim of it.
Interestingly, the lone Janasena Party MLA Rapaka Varaprasad heaped praises on CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for giving utmost importance to development and welfare schemes. He said that, Jagan is following the footsteps of his late father YS Rajasekhar Reddy.
“Jagan is giving first priority to agriculture and is offering monetary aid to farmers. His decision of announcing Rs 7 lakh as compensation to families of farmers who committed suicide in the last five years is appreciable,” said Varaprasad who indulged in flattery on Jagan adding, “Korikalu Korukunte Theerchedi Gangamma Thalli Ayithe, Koraunda Maa Korikalu Theerchedi Jagan Mohan Reddy Gaaru.”
