After submitting a memorandum to the District Collector urging him to appoint teachers on priority basis to the schools, the students took out padayatra.
They also urged the District Education Officer (DEO) to give posting orders to teachers on priority basis to the village schools.
The parents also demanded the DEO to provide basic amenities for all schools.
