Once bitten twice shy! The seer of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham Jayendra Saraswathi seems to be adhering to the adage as a he refused to pass any remarks on bifurcation. 

He was here in the city on Thursday to perform special poojas at Venkateswara temple at Labbipet for three days. After learning that his earlier remarks on Telangana received unsavoury remarks from separatist leaders, the Swamiji this time refused to be drawn into any controversy.

The seer's comment that Naxalites would rule the roost if the state is bifurcated has received widespread criticisim from politicians in the country.
