Workshop on anti-ragging measures

Hyderabad, Aug 8 :-

  In the wake of increasing ragging incidents reporting from various colleges in the city, the Osmania University will conduct a workshop for the principals of campus, constituent and affiliated colleges of the university on Anti-ragging measures, on August 10 at the Tagore auditorium.

The meeting chaired by Osmania University Vice-Chancellor would discuss various measures to prevent ragging in the academic session. Hostel wardens, chairpersons of all departments, principals of various colleges would attend the meet.

The meeting will also take a decision on appointment of counselors and police control rooms in a move to instill confidence and dispel fear of ragging from the minds of freshers, according to a press release.
