Traffic cops target students for road safety

Hyderabad, Jan 8: Commissioner of Police B Prasada Rao has released four short films to create awareness among students and the general public on road safety and rules.The films, made with the cooperation of Film Corporation of Andhra Pradesh aim to highlight the dangers of drunken driving, jumping of traffic signals and triple riding on two-wheelers. One film also guides the public on how to go about making e-Challan payments.

Office of the Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic) in a statement on Friday said the four films would go a long way in educating the students and the general public in safe driving.The statement also said the film on e-Challan payment is designed to educate the public on the generation of traffic e-Challan cases and also on the mode of payment.The films will be distributed to all major educational institutions for the benefit of the students.
