Shame on Us: Masturbation on Roads!

Can we call this a National assault or do we need to frame any more relevant words above than this? In morning day light yesterday, a working woman starting her day schedule in Mumbai when gets charged by a young boy masturbating in front of her, what would this symbolize? The lady named Maryanna Abdo, writer from Los Angeles and London currently employed in Mumbai is shocked when the offender ran away.

Mary Abdo being a daring woman, she took the whole incident on to Twitter to explain what happened. She has first posted the photo of culprit but later removed it when Police logged in to nab him. In fact, many Twitteratis condemned Mary Abdo’s action of posting the picture on Twitter without taking the action. But, for how many days we will go on with questioning the victim rather than resolving the fault in ourselves.  

‘On Monday morning I tweeted a picture of a man who had behaved in a sexually inappropriate manner towards me here in Mumbai. I am now in touch with the police here and am handing this matter over to them. I have therefore decided to take down the picture. I wanted to say thank you for the overwhelming support I have received from so many people across India about this incident. Once again, thanks for all of your good wishes,’ Maryanna Abdo posted on Twitter. We should fight in unison to stop such indecent incidents happen in future.
