Hyderabad, Dec 8 : The Andhra Pradesh Road Transport Corporation on Tuesday restored all its services including those plying through the Telangana Districts after suspending them for two days in view of theTelanagana bandh that commenced on Saturday night.The APSRTC also resumed its services to Telangana region in the wee hours of Tuesday, informed APSRTC Managing Director S S P Yadav to newsmen. Bus services to Vijayawada, Warangal, Nizamabad, Mahabubnagar, Khammam, Nalgonda, Medak, Karimnagar and Adilabad were reoperated.
By Tuesday evening all other services will be restored, the managing director affirmed.The RTC also restored its long-distance services up to places like Visakhapatnam,Rajahmundry, Kakinada, Amalapuram, Tirupati and Bangalore.The bus services were suspended apprehending trouble during the bandh called by Telangana Rashtra Samithi. Public transport came to a grinding halt and thousands were stranded as the RTC suspended its fleet of vehicles within the region and services to other regions passing through Telangana.
